Fernando Martinez & Iker Dieguez are the proud owners of ecomaids of Central, West and North Austin. Their business partnership evolved from a great friendship and professional relationship. “Our combined experience and capabilities, provide a fresh, fun, out of the box and innovative approach to problem solving and undertaking challenges”
Fernando was born in Monterrey, Mexico and majored in Architecture. After working as an architectural designer for several years, he had the opportunity to work as head of Retail Development, first for Harley-Davidson and then for Volvo Cars in Mexico for a combined total of eight years. During that time, he met Iker and had the opportunity to professionally collaborate with him, which evolved into a close friendship and now a great partnership. Fernando is married to Mariana and together they have three beautiful daughters, Sara, Natalia and Esthela, and a furry Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Bono. He loves to run and enjoys the outdoors, wine, chocolate and coffee. He loves to cook, read and listen to music. “I love finding attractive hikes anywhere I am visiting, planning my weekly long runs through which I will meet new neighborhoods and places, and will always look forward to preparing the menu and shopping list for whatever I am going to grill for my family on weekends.”
Fernando lives in the North Area. North Austin is comprised of quiet, peaceful neighborhoods, while being surrounded by excellent shopping, restaurants and recreational activities such as The Domain or the recently built Q2 Stadium, home to Austin FC. North Austin is conveniently located to many of the city’s major employers, which has boosted its growth and development in the last few years. North Austin includes: Great Hills, Anderson Mill, The Domain, among other neighborhoods.
In his free time Fernando participates and supports his local parish.
Iker was born and raised in Mexico City but adopted by Austin in 2019. He is a Mexican licensed attorney and Partner at CCN, a full service cross-border law firm. Iker is married to Laura, and together they have two amazing children, María and Iker, and two furry dogs, Manolo and Venancio. Iker is also an avid drummer who practices every weekend to play live whenever there is a chance, and will never miss an opportunity to plays tennis or do wakeboard in Lake Travis.
Iker lives in the West area. While West Austin is home to numerous warm and friendly, conveniently located neighborhoods, it is also home to two of the seven Highland Lakes, Lake Austin, and Lake Travis. West Austin covers: Barton Creek, Bee Cave, West Lake, Lakeway, Steiner Ranch, Dripping Springs and Spicewood. It is characterized for its picturesque Texas Hill Country views and beautiful homes. This area of Austin not only offers top-notch schools, great shopping, and golf courses, but also an amazing opportunity for outdoor lovers. “Whether people are searching for a home with direct lake access or one with a hill top view, they will sure find it in West Austin.”
